Tutorial on how to increase font size in web browsers

Text size is a very important aspect of web design and accessibility!

Ian Lloyd of Accessify created a video (see below) on how to increase text size and a few shortcuts to help you along the way. It's a topic that appears again and again in on and offline discussions.

Some people have tried to resolve the problem by adding widgets to their personal website to increase text size. However, it is believed that this kind of functionality should be left to the functionality of the browser - not individual web pages.

In light of this, Patrick Lauke created a text size toolbar to make it easier for people to increase or decrease text size.
